My dog (7 month old Am Staff) loves this mat. I hide the dog food and sometimes eat in it, which keeps him busy for at least 20 minutes. It also sticks well to the floor. My only criticism is that he pulls out the "grass" really easily, so once he's done chasing it, I have to take it off before he can pull it away. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

I have a large 5 month old mixed breed puppy who is very demanding! We go for daily walks, play catch in the yard, and go to training classes and puppy day camp every week. Still, he has a lot on his plate. I don't think I'll love him as much as I do now, but this is probably one of my favorite dogs ever to buy. We use it for all his meals. We tried one of the name brand toys that would shake around to knock the food out and our pup got frustrated with using it and started barking at it. , without the frustration of him trying to knock off 3 kibble at once. It slowed down his eating rate. I wouldn't say he feels exhausted after using it, but combining it with other mentally stimulating games and toys can do wonders for an energetic puppy and its owner!
